All 29 housemates in the Big Brother Naija Season 10 show were thrown into celebration mood on Sunday evening after learning that no one would be evicted in the first week.
Naija News reports that the twist was revealed during the first Sunday Live Show by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who informed the contestants that they would all remain in the house for now.
The housemates, who had been tense throughout the week, immediately relaxed and hugged each other in joy.
Earlier, Big Brother had directed each contestant to secretly nominate two others for eviction, creating fear and uncertainty in the house.
Only the current Head of House, Jason Jae, was not included in the process due to his victory in the HoH challenge.
The rest of the housemates believed they were at risk.
However, it turned out that the nominations were fake.
Big Brother kept the truth from the housemates throughout the week, allowing the fear of eviction to build and stir emotions.
When the news broke that no eviction would take place, the entire house turned festive.
Many of the contestants saw it as a fresh chance to improve their game and connect better with the viewers.
In other news, former Big Brother Naija Season 6 housemate Samuel Alifa, better known as Sammie, has dismissed allegations of a ₦4.4 million audition scam.
This comes after a businessman, identified as Emmanuel Idakwo, alleged that the reality TV star defrauded him of ₦4.4 million during his attempt to audition for the BBNaija show.
Naija News reports that Idakwo, in an interview with Punch, claimed that he trusted Sammie because he had previously been in the house and had a better understanding of the audition process.
