Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly decided to abandon their pursuit of Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen this summer.
The French club shifted their focus away from Osimhen after securing the signing of Desire Doue from Rennes, according to French publication L’Equipe.
With the absence of Goncalo Ramos due to injury, PSG manager Luis Enrique is said to be leaning towards utilizing Randal Kolo Muani as the attacking focal point in the team.
On the other hand, Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman has emerged as a potential target for PSG, with reports suggesting that the Ligue 1 champions have offered him a hard-to-resist contract.
The proposed deal entails a substantial increase in salary for Lookman, elevating it to €4.5 million per season from his current earnings of €1.8 million with Atalanta.
Lookman, who expressed his desire to be excluded from Atalanta’s match against Lecce, is reportedly eager to make the move to PSG.
Although PSG have yet to initiate direct talks with Atalanta or submit a formal bid, they have reportedly engaged with Lookman’s representatives, indicating a serious intent to secure his services.
Atalanta are believed to be seeking a transfer fee in the region of €40 million for the former Fulham player. Hence, his move to PSG is more in the hands of his current club than in his hands.
