President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday held a meeting with the nation’s security chiefs and heads of security agencies in Abuja at the presidential villa.
The specific agenda for discussion was yet to be made public at the time of filing this report but Naija News understands a review of recent security happenings in the country will feature prominently in their discussions.
The security chiefs are also expected to brief the president on the latest happenings and steps that have been taken to address the situation.
Those in attendance include the Minister of Defence, General Bashir Magashi (retd), the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, and the service chiefs led by the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Lucky Irabor among others.
