President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday evening returned to Aso Rock in Abuja after his four-day private visit to Daura.
Naija News had earlier reported that the President who travelled on Saturday participated in the All Progressives Party, a membership registration, and revalidation exercise.
President Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, who spoke on the reason for the President’s visit to Daura said, Buhari considers this exercise as a very important one for the nation’s democracy and its yearning for good leadership as a requirement of the process of nation-building.
The President’s return to Abuja on Tuesday was confirmed the personal assistant to the President on new media, Bashir Ahmad.
He wrote, “President @MBuhari has returned to Abuja this evening, after a four-day official visit to his hometown, Daura, Katsina State.”
