The Presidency has yet to comment on the deadly attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train by bandit terrorists on Monday night.
Naija News had reported earlier that bandit terrorists attacked the train on Monday night with 970 passengers on board.
The train which took off around 6 pm from the Idu train station at the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja was attacked 30 minutes to Rigasa train station in Kaduna.
A former Deputy Governor of Zamfara State, Ibrahim Wakkala and many others were involved in the horror attack.
A former media aide to Wakkala, Yusuf Idris, said the politician sustained a gunshot leg injury and is currently recuperating in a medical facility in Kaduna.
The incident also saw a female medical doctor identified as Chinelo killed in the deadly attack.
Despite the outrage from Nigerians over the death of the medical doctor, the Presidency has not reacted to the sad incident as of the time of filing this report.
A quick check on the social media handles of the presidential spokesmen, Femi Adesina and Garba Shehu, shows that no statement has been made concerning the terror attack.
Meanwhile, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Farouk Yahaya has ordered security agencies to go after the perpetrators of the Abuja-Kaduna train attack and rescue kidnapped victims unconditionally.
