Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has expressed disappointment in the action of the 2023 Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, following a chance meeting between the duo.
According to a viral social media video, Obi and Portable met briefly in Benin City, Edo State, where the two exchanged pleasantries.
However, following the chance meeting, Portable revealed on social media that Obi did not give him anything,
The singer added that if it were to be President Bola Tinubu he met, the former Lagos State Governor would have given him money.
In the clip, Portable stated, “Obi cannot give us anything. Obi didn’t give us anything. If it was Tinubu we met, he would have given us something. Let’s go.”
In another development, Portable, has shared some details about his encounter with Afrobeats star, Davido in the United States.
The singer claimed he cancelled a $6,000 show to meet Davido in June.
He lamented that despite his sacrifice he was snubbed and denied the promised feature.
The controversial artiste disclosed this during an interview with Echo Room.
“I was on my own in the United States when Davido called me, saying he wanted us to link up. I cancelled a $6,000 show to meet him. I still canceled another show in his presence because he promised me a feature but he ended up wasting my time. If you want to help me, help me, and don’t stress me”, he said.
The fallout has led to Davido unfollowing Portable on social media, amid the public feud.
