Oyo: Nigerians React As Alao Akala Dies Weeks After Soun’s Death

The death of the former Governor of Oyo State, Alao Akala, has stirred reactions online.

Naija News had earlier reported that the All Progressives Congress chieftain died on Wednesday in Ogbomoso, at the age of 71.

Prominent persons, political office holders and Nigerians have taken to social media platforms to react to the death of Akala who was elected Governor under the Peoples Democratic Party in 2007.

Akala before his death was the governorship candidate of the ADP in the 2019 election in Oyo State which was eventually won by the candidate of the PDP, Seyi Makinde.

The death of Akala is coming weeks after the death of the Soun of Ogbomoso,  Oba Oladunni Oyewumi, Ajagungbade III.
