The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun, on Wednesday, held an Advisory Council meeting with the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Rashidi Ladoja and others.
Ladoja, who had shunned the meeting several times following the elevation of members of the advisory committee to beaded crown-wearing monarchs, was present.
He arrived Alarere residence of Oba Balogun at about 11:48 a.m. for the meeting in his black Toyota Land Cruiser Jeep with the number plate BDJ 123 AS.
In attendance at the meeting are Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehim, Otun Balogun, Oba Tajudeen Abimbola, Osi Olubadan, Oba Eddy Oyewole, Osi Balogun, Oba Lateef Adebimpe, Asipa Balogun, Oba Kolawoke Adegbola, Asipa Olubadan, Oba Kola Daisi, Ekerin Balogun, Oba Isioye Dada, Ekerin Olubadan, Oba Amidu Ajibade, Ekaarun Balogun, Oba Abiodun Agadagudu and Ekaarun Olubadan, Oba Akande.
A close associate of the former governor, who spoke on condition of anonymity with Punch, said, “Ladoja is not having any issue with anybody. He had since made his stance known to everybody. You know he is a man of peace.”
