Obi Cubana Reacts To Davido’s N250m Donation

Nigerian socialite and entrepreneur, Obinna Iyiegbu, has spoken on Davido’s decision to give the sum of 250m to orphanages across Nigeria.

Recall that Naija News earlier reported that Davido had decided to give the money donated to him by his friends and fans to orphanages.

A five-man disbursement committee was set up to select the orphanages and charity organizations to receive the funds.

Responding to the development, Obi Cubana who was amongst those that sent Davido money, praised the singer’s decision.

He said: “Davido donates 250m to orphanages! You see what we are talking about? A king will always be a king!We all rise by lifting others!
It’s not about how much we have but having the mind to help when and where we can! Together, we can all make the world a better place!!!
Thank You King David for impacting the world positively….thank you!”

In other news, the winner of Bbnaija season 4, Mercy Eke has given out the total sum of 5 million naira via her foundation to some women.

The media personality and actress took to her Instagram account to thank those who made the grant possible while also stating that the foundation was very dear to her.

Her friend Mike Edward and Diane Russet also attended the event in a bid to support her.

She wrote: “I want to use this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you that made the @mercyekefoundation grant giving day a success.”Read More
