The National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the reopening of its portal for name correction.
The NYSC management on Monday, March 16 in a post on its official Twitter handle, listed out all requirements need for the application for name corrections, Naija News reports.
The post revealed that the listed requirements are applicable to name addition and removal only, adding that name re-arrangement and spelling mistakes can still be requested directly from the dashboard without the involvement of the SAO.
“In view of the high requests for the correction of names of Prospective Corps Members (PCMs), the NYSC portal has been re-enabled for all 2021 Batch ‘A’ Corps members (CMs) and Prospective Corps members (PCMs) to apply for name corrections through their dashboards,” the announcement added.
All requests according to the NYSC management, must be recommended by the Institution’s SAO through their handles on the portal.
See below all documents that must be uploaded by the Institution before the request will be approved and effected:
- Letter of request from the Institution signed by the Registrar
- Page of the Senate/Academic Board approved list where the name appears
- JAMB Admission Letter
- WAEC Certificate
- Statement of Result/Degree/HND Certificates
In another news, Naija News reports that President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday approved the appointment of Dr Oyebode Oyetunde as Executive Director for Nigeria at the African Development Bank in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, confirmed the development in a statement titled “President Buhari approves appointment of Dr Oyebode Oyetunde as Executive Director for Nigeria at AfDB.”
