Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club, Kwara United have completed the signing of goalkeeper Adamu Muhammad from Gombe United.
Muhammad opted to leave Gombe United after their relegation from the NPFL to the Nigeria National League (NNL).
The former Nigeria Under-23 shot-stopper has signed a two-year deal with the Harmony Boys.
Abubakar, who was Gombe United’s first-choice goalkeeper last season, will now be part of coach Kabiru Dogo’s side for pre-season training in Ikenne, Ogun state.
Ikenna Cooper Joins Rivers United
Ikenna Cooper has agreed to join former NPFL champions, Rivers United from Enyimba of Aba.
Cooper, a key player during Finidi George’s tenure as coach of Enyimba, has decided to move to Rivers United, where he will reunite with his former head coach.

Kwara United have secured the signature of Bayelsa United defender, Adekunle Samuel, for an undisclosed fee.
Katsina United resume work
Katsina United have resumed pre-season training ahead of the 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League season. The team will undergo training sessions twice daily and play friendly matches to prepare for the upcoming season.
