Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club, Shooting Stars have announced that they will provide a double bonus to their players if they manage to secure a victory over Nasarawa United.
This announcement was made by the club’s Chairman, Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, during an address to the players in Ijebu-Ode.
Akoro emphasized the management’s commitment to prioritizing the welfare of the players for the upcoming season. He conveyed the support of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, and assured the players of the state’s backing.
Highlighting the club’s focus on players’ welfare, Akoro mentioned the importance of team cohesion and unity, despite acknowledging the players’ demonstrated maturity in friendly matches and training sessions.
The Oluyole Warriors are scheduled to face off against the Solid Miners in the opening fixture of the 2024-25 season this Sunday.
