The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has postponed the rescheduled matchday 17 fixture between Enyimba and Nasarawa United.
The NPFL encounter between Enyimba and Nasarawa United, initially set for Thursday, December 19, has been postponed indefinitely.
According to a release by the league organizers, the match was postponed due to Enyimba’s continental engagement in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Aba giants were in action against the Black Bulls of Mozambique last weekend, losing the matchday three encounter 3-0.
Enyimba currently occupies the bottom spot in their group, with one point from three games.
Meanwhile, Nigeria goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali is back on the radar of South African giants Kaizer Chiefs.
Recall that Kaizer Chiefs were among the clubs linked with the Chippa United shot-stopper in the summer.
Nwabali, however, signed a new, improved three-year contract with Chippa United and was also made the club captain.
The 28-year-old has once again impressed this season, with four clean sheets in 11 league appearances.
Chippa United currently occupy the sixth position in the league standings.
According to the South African news outlet, Soccerladuma, Kaizer Chiefs could re-visit their interest in the shot-stopper in January
The Chili Boys have conceded 13 goals this term, the highest in the South Africa top flight.
