Notorious bandit leader, Bello Turji has killed two rival bandit kingpins and their members in Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Naija News learned that Turji killed the two bandit leaders identified as Dullu and Dan Maigari alongside at least 15 others during an attack on their base on Tuesday morning.
It was gathered that the notorious bandit kingpin killed his rivals in a reprisal attack after a loyal member of his gang was gunned down recently.
A source told Daily Trust that Turji attacked the Maniya hideouts of the rival gang and killed the two bandit leaders alongside some of their followers.
He disclosed that one of the slain bandit leaders, Dan Maigari is a younger brother of a notorious bandit turned intermediary, Bashari Maniya.
The source revealed that Turji mobilised fighters loyal to him who launched an unexpected attack at the Maniya hideouts of the rival gang.
He stated further that many gunmen from Maniya were seen crossing the Moriki-Shinkafi Road into Sububu Forest, escaping from the onslaught.
“Turji also abducted some men from the area but we heard he later killed. Dullu’s corpse and some others have been abandoned at his own base.
“Turji himself is believed to have lost some men but we are not sure how many. But I have seen some of them returning with bullet wounds,” he said.
