A rival cult group has burnt a notorious cultist identified as Christopher Samuel in Bayelsa State.

The deceased was killed around 6:30am on Saturday, March 26, in the Swali area of Yenagoa, sequel to a clash which occurred between the deceased group and another unidentified cult group.

Residents in the area initially thought it was a robbery incident when the mob accosted the deceased and set him ablaze. However, investigations by the police revealed it was a cult-related murder.
