A prominent Nollywood actor and content creator, Odira Nwobu, has recently been involved in a car accident.
A video that has since gone viral from the scene of the accident depicts bystanders urgently rescuing victims from the wreckage.
Naija News reports that Nwobu’s car was left in a severely damaged state, with both the front and side areas completely crushed beyond recognition.

The actor was observed to be conscious yet noticeably disoriented, sitting by the roadside and covered in blood as onlookers hurried to help him.
It has been reported that the car accident took place on Wednesday along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Reports suggest that this unfortunate incident resulted in multiple fatalities, while Nwobu and other survivors were swiftly taken to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care.

Odira began his acting career shortly after finishing secondary school, but he rose to fame for his performance in ‘Joseph The Dreamer’.
This role earned him a nomination for Best Comic Actor at the African Movie Academy Awards.
He has appeared in numerous films, including ‘Home Alone’, ‘Class Mugu’, ‘Village Rats’, ‘Goat Lover’, ‘Wayward Father’, ‘Ikpo’, ‘Village Priest’, and ‘Family Saga’.
The actor married Gifty in 2021, and they welcomed their first child together—a daughter—in 2023.
