Nigerian Singer, TEMS Nominated For 2021 BET Awards

Nigerian female musician and songwriter, Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems has joined the likes of Wizkid and Burna Boy to bagged a nomination for the 2021 Bet Awards.

Naija News reports that the nominees were announced on Tuesday, June 8 via a social media post by the organizers of the awards. Reacting to the award nomination, TEMS who is just 25 years of age wrote: “So crazy! Incredibly honoured”.

The record producer together with other international artists got nominations for the Best New International Act award.

The award notification read thus: “We are thrilled to announce this year’s Viewer’s Choice: Best New International Act Nominees; Arloparks (UK), BramsitoB7 (France), Breerunway (UK), Elaine (SA),mcdricka13 (Brazil),ronisia_mds (France) and Temasbaby (Nigeria).

“Go to @BET_INTL to cast your vote,” the tweet said.
