27 Dead As Soldiers, Boko Haram Clash In Borno
Troops of the Special Forces Brigade on Monday clashed with members of the dreaded Boko Haram in a gun battle at Chikingudu, a community in the Marte Local Government Area of the state.
According to a military signal seen by SaharaReporters on Tuesday, no fewer than 25 suspected terrorists and two soldiers died, while seven soldiers also sustained injuries.

Police Release OPC members Detained over Wakili’s arrest
The Oyo State Police Command has released the three members of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) arrested and detained over the arrest of suspected Fulani warlord, Iskilu Wakili.
Naija News reports that the OPC members named Dauda Kazeem, Awodele Adedigba, and Ramon Hassan were released on bail following the intervention of the state governor, Seyi Makinde, and the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams.

The Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams, on Tuesday reacted to the release of the members of the Oodua People’s Congress arrested by the Oyo State Police Command over Iskili Wakili.
The Oyo State police command on Sunday arrested Dauda Kazeem, Awodele Adedigba and Ramon Hassan for apprehending the alleged Fulani warlord.

Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has asked Yoruba activist Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, to help capture Isikilu Wakili, a foreign terrorist who operates in the Ibarapa area, of Oyo.
Iskilu Wakili who is alleged to be behind multiple cases of kidnappings, killings, and banditry in the Ibarapa axis of Oyo State was captured on Sunday by a joint team of local security operatives including the Odua Peoples Congress (OPC).
