The Department of State Security Service (DSS) has reportedly released Salihu Tanko-Yakasai, a former spokesman to the Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.

Apologise For Insulting Gov Yahaya Bello – APC Tells Sen. Abaribe
The Senate Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe, has been called on by the All Progressives Congress to apologise for ‘criticising’ Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.
The deputy spokesman of the ruling party, Yekini Nabena, in a statement released on Monday, said, “legal action” will be instituted against the senator if he failed to publicly apologise to Bello, saying that his utterances against the governor were “false, irresponsible and malicious.”

A group known as the Anti-Corruption Network has submitted a petition to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), the US Embassy, British High Commission, and Transparency International against the Yahaya Bello-led Kogi government.
