The Nigeria Police Force has withdrawn 30 inspectors and rank-and-file personnel attached to Very Important Personalities (VIPs) to boost its operations ahead of the planned #EndBadGovernance protests.
A memo signed by SP Anas Mohammed, S/O DOPS (Department of Operations, SHQ Owerri, on July 29, 2024, with reference number AB: 4087/IMS/DOPS/SO/VOL.1/443 said the posting is in view of the upcoming nationwide protest.
The operatives are expected to report at the office on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
