President Muhammadu Buhari is set to meet with candidates aspiring to become the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Those expected at the meeting are former governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Adamu; former governor of Benue State, George Akume; ex-governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari.
Other aspirants are former governor of Nasarawa State, Tanko Al-Makura; Senator Sani Musa; Saliu Mustapha and Mohammed Etsu.
It is understood that the President will either disclose his consensus plans or allow an open race in the national convention of the party slated for Saturday, March 26.
Naija News reports that the meeting, which will hold at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa.
