Members of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria, PASAN, on Tuesday marched out in their number to protest against the non-implementation of financial autonomy for state assemblies.

It was gathered that the protesters who are at the main entrance of the National Assembly are carrying placards with different inscriptions.

The workers in their statement threatened to shut down the National Assembly and all house of assembly in the 36 states in the next six days if the Senate and House of Representatives fail to attend to their request.

The President of PASAN, Mohammed Usman, while speaking with newsmen said the association is wondering why the implementation had not been done two years after the law was passed.

He accused the governors of preventing the implementation of the law.
