In demonstration of party loyalty and unity of purpose, Hon. Abubakar Usman Muwo, (Leader Muwo), one of the leading aspirants in the just concluded APC consensus for Mokwa Local Government Chairmanship, led a powerful delegation of stakeholders, party executives and youths from Muwo/Gbajibo Ward on a congratulatory and solidarity visit to Hon. Jibril Abdullahi Muregi, the APC flag bearer.
In his remarks, Hon. Abubakar Usman Muwo openly declared his total acceptance of the decision of His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Niger State, Rt Hon. Mohammed Umar Bago and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) regarding the nomination of Hon. Jibril Abdullahi Muregi. He acknowledged the supremacy of the party’s interest over personal ambition and stated emphatically that he, along with his supporters and followers, are in full support of Hon. Muregi’s candidature.
Leader Muwo emphasized the need for collective efforts, unity and loyalty to the party, stressing that the overriding objective is to ensure the victory of the APC and the progress of Mokwa Local Government Area.
Adding further weight to the solidarity gesture, Alhaji Musa Kafinta, a critical stakeholder from the Ward, affirmed their loyalty and support. He noted that the delegation traveled all the way Mokwa Kinti as a sign of deep love, commitment and solidarity for Hon. Muregi. Alhaji Kafinta assured the flag bearer that Muwo/Gbajibo Ward would deliver one hundred percent support in the election.
Similarly, Hon. Mohammed Mayaki, the APC Secretary for Muwo/Gbajibo Ward, spoke on behalf of the ward executives. He reiterated the full and unanimous endorsement of Hon. Muregi by the entire ward leadership, noting that the Women Leader, Treasurer and some members were present as a show of strength and commitment.
Hon. Mayaki assured Hon. Muregi that the ward’s political structure, mobilization machinery and grassroots networks were already activated to secure victory for the party.
On behalf of the youth constituency, the Sarkin Samari Muwo (Youth Leader) reaffirmed the complete support of the Youths from both Muwo and Magun communities. He described Hon. Muregi as a beacon of hope and urged him to remain focused, resilient and prepared to deliver quality leadership once elected.
Hon. Muregi, while appreciating the delegation, promised to carry everyone along and work tirelessly for the progress of Mokwa Local Government when elected.
