Award-winning Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has dismissed claims of being slapped during his visit to Warri, Delta state.
Naija News reports that Davido was in Delta State over the weekend, where he performed at a wedding and later visited a club in the state.
A video making the rounds online captured the moment Davido was hit on the head while leaving the club.
A social media user who also shared the video claimed a fan slapped Davido.
Setting the record straight, Davido, in a post via his 𝕏 handle, stated that it was one of his security who hit him mistakenly.

In other news, Reality TV star Uriel Oputa has reacted to the frequent comparisons Nigerians make between celebrity weddings, particularly those of singers Davido and Chioma and businessman Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola.
In a post on her Instagram story, Uputa pointed out that many people who engage in such debates do not have the financial capacity to replicate the type of weddings they admire.
The former Big Brother Naija housemate described the comparisons as misplaced, stressing that most critics struggle with the cost of basic wedding expenses while attempting to project an image of luxury.
