The lawmaker representing Imo West senatorial district, Rochas Okorocha has arrived at the venue of the All Progressives Congress’ presidential screening in Abuja.
The former Governor of Imo State would have missed the screening following his arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission last week Tuesday.
The commission had arrested Okorocha at his residence and detained him in their custody.
A Federal High Court in Abuja, however, on Tuesday granted Okorocha bail in the sum of N500 million and a surety in like sum.
The former governor is being tried on a 17-count charge to the tune of N2.9 billion filed against him by the EFCC.
As of the time of filing this report, Okorocha has arrived at the venue of the presidential screening.
Okorocha would be screened by the presidential screening committee led by the former national chairman of the party, John Odigie-Oyegun.
