Two Bayern Munich stars, Matthijs de Ligt and Nouassir Mazraoui have reportedly agreed to move to Manchester United in this summer transfer window.
Note that De Ligt and Mazraoui are represented by renowned football agent Rafaela Pimenta. They have reportedly agreed on a transfer deal with Manchester United which will keep them at Old Trafford for at least five years.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the validity of the agreements between United and the players, stating that De Ligt has been awaiting United’s decision since June, while Mazraoui has been in a similar position since last week.
He wrote on X earlier today, “The agreement between Matthijs de Ligt and Man United remains valid; he’s only been waiting for United since June.
“Same for Nouassir Mazraoui, waiting for Utd since last week.
“Players’ agent Rafaela Pimenta agreed on a five-year contract plus option until 2030 for both of them.”
The potential transfer is contingent on the ongoing negotiations between Manchester United and Bayern Munich on a transfer fee.
Note that Matthijs de Ligt, 24, joined Bayern Munich from Juventus for a transfer fee worth €67 million on July 19, 2022. The Dutchman’s contract with the German side will expire on June 30, 2027.
As for Mazraoui, the 26-year-old Moroccan right-back joined Bayern Munich from Ajax on July 1, 2022, on a free transfer. His contract with the German club will expire on June 30, 2026.
