The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Muhammed Matawalle, has briefed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the outcomes of his recent operational tours in Sokoto State.

During the operation, key bandit leaders, including the notorious Halilu Buzu Sububu, were eliminated, demonstrating the government’s resolve to dismantle criminal networks.
Dr. Matawalle urged residents of Sokoto, Zamfara, Katsina, and Kebbi states to remain vigilant and cooperate with security forces to ensure the continued success of military operations.
President Tinubu expressed his satisfaction with the briefing, commending both the Minister and the troops for their renewed commitment to eradicating insecurity in the North-West and across Nigeria.
