A 34-year-old man identified as Akuma Felix Emeka, has been poisoned by his ex-lover, exactly a week to his wedding ceremony in Owerri, Imo State.
According to Igbere TV, Emeka was poisoned by his ex-girlfriend, who also poisoned herself.
Sources that spoke on the incident noted that the ex-girlfriend on Saturday, April 3, 2021, invited Felix for a drink, unknown to him, she had poisoned the drink.
They were later found dead in his car with what was left of the drink. Felix, a graduate of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, was scheduled to get married on Sunday, April 11.
A Facebook user, Chinaza Oraekwe wrote: “My mentor is going home to rest, still in shock chaiiii obi agbawala moooo RIP my great man ever.”
In another development, a pregnant lady has been apprehended in Markudi, Benue state capital for allegedly setting her man’s apartment on fire.
The lady whose name was not mentioned reportedly waited for her boyfriend to go out for his daily hustle before taking her belongings out and thereafter set the apartment ablaze.
