Spanish La Liga has officially registered new FC Barcelona signings Dani Olmo and Pau Victor after a series of back-and-forths.
Recall that FC Barcelona received a significant boost as they were granted a precautionary measure allowing them to register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor on Wednesday, January 8, by the Higher Sports Council (CSD).
About 24 hours later, Spanish La Liga who was among the football stakeholders in the country to criticize the development, carried out the registration of the new players as directed by the CSD.
Before now, both La Liga and the Spanish Football Federation had consistently denied Barcelona’s requests to register Olmo and Victor for several weeks.
However, the CSD’s recent involvement has shifted the situation, permitting the Catalan club to include both players in their roster for the upcoming fixtures.
