Kwankwaso, Saraki Visit Daura To Condole With Buhari’s Family

Two prominent Nigerian politicians, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Bukola Saraki, have paid separate condolence visits to the family of former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State.

Naija News reports that their visits came in the wake of Buhari’s passing, which has continued to draw tributes and sympathies from across the country and beyond.

Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano State and presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the 2023 elections, arrived in Daura on Saturday to personally sympathise with the late president’s family.

He was received by members of the household and the former leader’s political associates, who offered him words of comfort.

Shortly after, former Senate President, Bukola Saraki also visited Daura to condole with the bereaved family. Saraki, who served in various political capacities under past administrations, hailed Buhari’s dedication to national service.

The condolence visits by the two political figures add to the growing list of dignitaries who have trooped into Daura since the announcement of Buhari’s passing.
