Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho has been brought to court for the continuation of his trial.
Naija News gathered that although the activist was brought to the court and kept in a room since 7am, his trial is yet to start as at 11.55am.
His supporters have besieged the court waiting for the proceedings to commence.
His wife, Ropo, and hundreds of supporters, including some Yoruba traditional rulers, are also at the court.
This online newspaper reports that Sunday Igboho was arrested last Monday in Benin Republic alongside his wife, Ropo, which trying to board a flight to Germany.
The Court D’Apeal in Cotonou, Benin Republic, had on Thursday adjourned the trial of Sunday Igboho till today Monday.
The court however ordered the immediate release of Ropo, a German citizen, and ordered the return of her passport.
