President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Omotenioye Majekodunmi as Director-General of the National Council on Climate Change.
The appointment was confirmed in a press release on Thursday from the State House.
Naija News reports that Majekodunmi replaces Dr. Nkiruka Madueke, the pioneer head of the council, who was appointed by the President in June 2024.
The statement described Majekodunmi as a climate finance expert and environmental lawyer with over seventeen years of experience.
