The National President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, has departed from the headquarters of the Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT), which is located at Old Abattoir by Guzape Junction, Abuja.
Naija News reports that the NLC leader arrived at about 10:17 AM and exited at 11:15 AM after completing his statement.
Ajaero refrained from commenting to the media while at the IRT headquarters; however, he indicated that he would provide a statement to journalists at the NLC headquarters.
Last week, the police summoned Ajaero to the IRT headquarters on August 20 at 10 AM to respond to inquiries regarding his alleged connections to terrorism financing, cybercrime, subversion, criminal conspiracy, and treasonable felony.
Although Ajaero could not attend then, he assured the authorities that he would fulfil the invitation today.
He was accompanied by Femi Falana, SAN, Marshal Abubakar, Deji Adeyanju, and several senior officials from the NLC to respond to the police invitation on Thursday.
