President Bola Tinubu has reacted to the death of the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, who died on Thursday, July 25.
The President, in a condolence message issued by his special adviser on media and publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, said the late Iwuanyanwu would always be remembered for his remarkable legacy.
President Tinubu also commiserated with the Imo State Government, his friends and associates, and the Igbo community over the death of the elder statesman, businessman and politician.
The president also prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed elder statesman and comfort for his family during this difficult time.
“President Bola Tinubu extends his heartfelt commiserations to the family of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, who passed away on Thursday.
“Chief Iwuanyanwu was the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide. He was an accomplished businessman and notable politician.
“President Tinubu condoles with the Imo State Government, the friends and associates of the deceased, and Ndi Igbo over this irreparable loss.
“The President affirms that Chief Iwuanyanwu will always be remembered for his remarkable legacy.
“President Tinubu prays for the repose of the soul of the departed elder statesman and comfort to his family”, the statement said.
