Obowo Local Government Area stood still in colourful splendour as His Royal Highness, Eze Michael Utoko Iroanunam Obioma Ogbonna (Eze Ohachorọ 6 II), was formally crowned the traditional ruler of Amato- Alike Autonomous 
, Ikenanzizi, Obowo. The historic coronation ceremony attracted a large convergence of dignitaries, traditional institutions, political leaders, and community members from within and outside the state.
The ceremony was further elevated by the Presence of the Senator representing Imo North Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Patrick Ndubueze amongst other dignitaries, whose presence added national prominence to the royal event. In recognition of his outstanding service, leadership qualities, and contributions to community development, the Senator was conferred with the revered chieftaincy title of Ikuku Oma Ji Ihe Bia I of Amato Alike Autonomous Community.
Stakeholders whom lauded the conferment of the title described Senator Ndubueze as a worthy ambassador of progress, unity, and purposeful leadership.
The coronation ceremony itself was marked by rich cultural displays, traditional rites, and a strong sense of communal pride, as Alike Amato Autonomous Community formally installed Eze Michael Utoko Iroanunam Obioma Ogbonna as its paramount ruler. The event reaffirmed the enduring relevance of traditional institutions in promoting peace, unity, and development at the grassroots level.
In attendance were Distinguished members of the Obowo Local Government Council, led by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Barr. Obioma Johnson Ehirim, The Obowo Traditional Rulers’ Council, under the leadership of its Chairman, His Royal Majesty Ngozi Patrick Uwalaka, was also fully represented, lending royal authority and cultural depth to the ceremony.
Also present were prominent political figures, including the Member representing Obowo State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Barr. Kennedy Ibeh, former Commissioner, Lady Dr. Love Ibeh, Members of Senator Ndubueze’s entourage accompanied him to the ceremony, as well as many other respectable array of distinguished guests.
The atmosphere throughout the event was one of celebration, reverence, and optimism for a future anchored on peace, traditional values, and collaborative development.
