The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has accused Arewa political leadership of creating Fulani bandits.
Naija News reports that the wanted pro-Biafra activists stated this while reacting to the recent attack on Boko Haram on Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, on Tuesday.
The explosions that rocked Maiduguri had led to the death of ten persons, while 47 people have sustained injuries from the incident.
It was gathered that the figure was confirmed to the state Governor, Babagana Zulum by the hospital officials where the affected persons were taken to.
There were reports that the incident started at about 7:00 pm when multiple sources reported gunshots and explosions near the Gomari area of the state.
The sources claimed that the explosions were also heard in the Mairi area, a student’s village near the University of Maiduguri.
Reacting in a post on his official Twitter page, Nnamdi Kanu said the Fulani bandits were created by Arewa to conquer the south.
According to the IPOB leader, the monster created by Arewa has now turned around to ‘eat them up from the inside’.
Nnamdi Kanu wrote: “Fulani barbarism is the creation of Arewa political leadership in their laughable attempt to conquer and subjugate the South.
“That monster (Fulani bandits) they created is today eating them up from the inside. Our God is great!”
