RT Briscoe on Thursday topped the gainers chart at the Nigerian Capital Market following a 9.84 percent rise in share price at ₦0.67kobo from ₦0.61kobo per share.
Trading on Thursday ended on a good note with 0.16 percent rise in equity capitalization at the end of the day.
After eight hours of trading, equity capitalisation rose by ₦41.4 billion from ₦25.48 trillion to ₦25.52 trillion today.
The All-Share Index also increased by 76.89 basis points to close at 47,363.98 compared to 47,287.09 reported on Wednesday.
Investors on the market floor on Thursday traded 261.55 million shares valued at ₦4.47 billion in 4,672 deals.
This fell short of the 336.30 million shares worth ₦5.86 billion that exchanged hands in 5,248 deals the previous day.
UACN which was part of the gainers chart gained ₦0.90kobo to rise from ₦9.15kobo per share to ₦10.05
Oando’s share increased by ₦0.43kobo to move from ₦4.87kobo to ₦5.30kobo per share.
Presco’s share gained by ₦10.05 to move from ₦114.95kobo to ₦125 per share.
Neimeth gained ₦0.12kobo to end trading with ₦1.77kobo from ₦1.65kobo per share.
Royal Exchange on Thursday led the losers chart, shedding ₦0.14kobo to drop from ₦1.48kobo to ₦1.34kobo per share.
Associated Bus Transport’s share price depreciated from ₦0.35kobo to ₦0.32kobo per share after losing 8.57 percent during trading.
May & Baker’s share dropped by ₦0.31kobo to end trading at ₦4.60kobo from ₦4.91kobo per share.
Transcorp lost 5.22 percent to end trading with ₦1.09 from ₦1.15kobo per share.
Courtville completed the list after shedding 4.92 percent from its market price to drop from ₦0.61kobo to ₦0.58kobo per share.
Cutix led the day’s trading with 31.79 million shares valued at a value of ₦75.68 million.
Access Bank followed with 15.35 million shares valued at ₦155.51 million.
FCMB traded 15.12 million shares worth ₦50.99 million.
Fidelity Bank sold 14.92 million shares worth ₦44.08 million, while Zenith Bank traded 14.31 million valued at ₦379.82 million.
