In commemorating Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary, the national patron of the Coalition of Nigerian Youths on Security and Safety Affairs (CONYSSA), Dr. Engr. Amb. Adebamiji Oluniyi, extends his warmest congratulations to all Nigerians, particularly the youth, whose vigor and resilience remain the bedrock of national progress, as well as urged Nigerians to embrace National Unity and collective actions towards security and safety affairs of the Country.
“it is a moment for reflection, not only on the tremendous strides we have made as a nation but also on the challenges that continue to face us” he said
In his message, Dr. Oluniyi underscores the importance of national unity, emphasizing that “our diversity is our strength, and we must harness it for the collective good of Nigeria.” He calls on Nigerians from all walks of life to commit to building a secure, peaceful, and prosperous nation, free from the divisions that have too often held us back.
On Security and Safety
Dr. Oluniyi highlights the critical role of youth in shaping Nigeria’s future, particularly in the realm of security and safety. “The future of Nigeria depends on the youth, and it is imperative that we rise to the occasion, taking ownership of the security challenges in our communities and actively participating in efforts to resolve them,” he said. He also expressed concerns about the escalating security challenges facing the nation, from insurgency to banditry and cybercrime, stressing that the time has come for a comprehensive and inclusive strategy to ensure the safety of all Nigerians.
