Veteran Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has recounted how he battled a strange sickness for seven years, which left him incapacitated.
Naija News reports that the Anikulapo actor disclosed that during those times, he was unable to eat anything except pap.
He revealed this during an interview on Oyinmomo TV.
According to the 65-year-old actor, the ailment affected both his physical and emotional well-being, forcing him to seek treatment from place to place.
He also discarded his Mecca teeth during the process.
He explained that although the sickness affected his ability to appear frequently on movie sets, he did not sell any of his properties during that period.
“For a good seven years, I prayed while sitting, and I couldn’t eat anything except pap. It was a terrible period of my life.
“When I started collecting different kinds of treatments and going from place to place, I thanked both men and women. The only thing I couldn’t do then was go to locations often, and I never sold any properties,” he said.
Naija News recalls that another actor Don Richard recently opened up on his health challenge.
He said he had been fighting a particular ailment since he stopped drinking and smoking.
