The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, says the insinuation by some opposition politicians that Nigerians are angry with the government of President Bola Tinubu is not true.
Wike added that such people are also not happy about the good things and developments going on in the FCT.
Speaking on Friday during the commissioning of the Aguma Palace – Radio Nigeria – New Market Road, Gwagwalada Area Council, the FCT Minister specifically pointed accusing fingers at a presidential aspirant under the opposition coalition, whom he refused to name publicly.
He, however, described the wife of the said aspirant as an industrialist and promised to speak more on the matter during an engagement with the press.
“I never knew people were pained that so many things are going on very well in the FCT until last night when I was watching Politics Today. I saw one of the presidential aspirants of the coalition party, that his wife is an industrialist. So pained by the fact that Mr. President, Mr. Vice President, the Senate President, The Speaker, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation are coming to commission projects yet they say Nigerians are angry,” Wike said.
