‘I Love Good Music’ – Ex-President Jonathan Says As He Uses Wizkid’s Song

Former President, Goodluck Jonathan has addressed curiosity over his recent choice of music on Instagram.

Naija News reports that the development began after several of his followers noticed that songs from Nigerian Afrobeat superstar, Wizkid accompanied his last two photo uploads on the social media platform.

In one post, Jonathan used the track Blessed, while another featured the song Grace.

The music choice sparked speculation among fans, with some asking if his account had been compromised.

However, Jonathan clarified that there was no security breach on his page, adding that the tracks were deliberately chosen because of his taste in music.

He said, “First, no one hacked my account. Second, I love good music.”

In other news, Afrobeats artiste, Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, popularly known as Oxlade, has shared how his colleague, Adedamola Oyinlola Adefolahan, popularly known as Fireboy, helped his music career.

Naija News reports that the Away singer said his ability to compose songs was shaped by guidance from Fireboy DML.

He said the mentorship came during the early stage of his career, helping him move from basic recordings to creating more structured and refined music.

According to Oxlade, Fireboy’s songwriting skills stand out in the Nigerian music scene, and learning from him gave him a strong foundation before he fully developed his style.

The singer spoke about this experience during a recent livestream with content creator Shank Comics.
