Nigerian journalist and publisher, Dele Momodu has shared an encounter he had with the former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Lamido Sanusi after writing an article that he did not approve of.
Speaking via his X account, Momodu explained that he wrote an article about the former CBN governor which he did not like.
However, he explained that when they ran into each other at a hotel elevator, the former Emir of Kano simply joked about Momodu’s writing skills.
The publisher noted that Sanusi action towards him shows the power of superior logic and robust arguments.
He wrote, “I remember one of my encounters with the former Central Bank Governor and later Emir of Kano, fondly called SLS… I had written an article about him that he didn’t like. One day, I ran into him in the elevator of a hotel, and he said something like, “You, Dele, your pen is too wicked…” and we both laughed… That’s a scholar for you. Cerebral souls understand the power of superior logic and robust argument.”
