The House of Representatives has banned journalists from covering its investigative hearing into the ₦15 million corruption allegations involving crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCS).
The decision was communicated to the House press corps by the Joint Committees on Financial Crimes, and Reformatory Services of the House of Representatives.
The lawmakers said its investigation into the corruption claims involving the EFCC and NCS in the Bobrisky case is prohibited.
This decision follows an earlier invitation extended to the press to report on the proceedings.
