Some indigenes of Yewa community in Ogun State have been spotted in a video been addressed by officials of the Benin Republic after escaping from herdsmen attack.
A traditional ruler the community released the video during the weekend.
Scores of Ogun residents relocated to Benin Republic to seek refuge following attacks on some communities in Yewa North and Imeko Afon by criminals suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.
“It is because of the Fulani people. They are killing the people anyhow, moving from one place to another. They just kill. That is why the people are scared and they moved here,” he said.
