An officer of the Nigeria Police Force has been reportedly killed by some unidentified gunmen in Delta State.
It was gathered that the assailants in a convoy attacked the mobile policemen attached to Light World and Industries Nigeria Limited and killed one of the officers on guard.
Naija News learnt that the gunmen, during the attack went away with the officer’s Riffle, a development that left residents in great fear.
The incident happened at the Edjeba Junction in Warri South Local Government Area.
However, efforts to reach the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoye proof abortive as his lines were out of reach at the time the report is given.
Reacting to the incident when contacted, the acting Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Odafe Bright told newsmen that he has been away but promised to get back and confirm the report.
