Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has reportedly married a fourth wife in the person of Gumsu Abacha, a daughter of former Nigerian military president, late General Sani Abacha.
The private ceremony where the two love birds were joined together in matrimony happened over the weekend at the Abacha’s residence in Abuja according to Sahara Reporters.
The 53-year-old Buni who is also the chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee was said to have made his marriage to Gumsu a low-key affair so as to avoid public backlash.
Naija News reports the beautiful Gumsu was previously married to Cameroonian multi-billionaire businessman, Bayero Fadil Mohamadou but the 20-year-old relationship is said to have hit the rocks due to irreconcilable differences as updated on Bayero’s Wikipedia page.
In other news, the Minister of State for Health, Olorunnimbe Mamora, has said that President Muhammadu, Governors, and other strategic leaders of the country will take the COVID-19 vaccines in public.
Speaking on Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily on Monday, Mamora said the reason for the decision is to boost confidence in Nigerians that the vaccines are harmless.
The minister asserted that Nigeria is expected to receive 3.92m doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday, March 2.
Mamora noted that the frontline workers would be first to be vaccinated because they are facing the battle against the virus.
He added that the elderly particularly with existing health conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, and other old age sicknesses will be vaccinated next.
