Veteran Nigerian entertainer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has asked the Department of State Service (DSS) to arrest Obidients in Edo State who came out en masse to show their support for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi.
Naija News recalls that the LP flag bearer yesterday joined hundreds of party members for a mega rally ahead of the local government elections in Edo State.
Also in attendance was former Nigerian Bar Association president, Olumide Akpata, who recently joined the party.
In various videos shared online, a mammoth crowd of LP supporters were seen on the street as they welcomed the former governor of Anambra State.
Reacting to the massive support from Edo residents, Charly Boy praised Obidients for coming out en masse.
He subsequently went on to taunt the DSS to go and arrest those who showed their solidarity towards Obi’s presidential bid.
