The Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State on Tuesday, experienced a gas explosion which left many people injured.
It is understood that the gas explosion happened at Iyasoko Street Agboju, Amuwo-Odofin, a few minutes before 7pm.
The incident has been confirmed by the Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Nosa Okunbor, who said the LASEMA team has been deployed.
He however noted that the magnitude of the incident could not be determined yet.
He said, “Yes, it is true. Our team members are on their way. They are delayed by traffic. I cannot determine the magnitude of the incident at present.”
