Nigerian comedian and actor Julian Stanley, popularly known as Funny Bone, has opened up about a fallout with a former female friend over her request for Pastor Jerry Eze’s phone number.
In a post shared on his Instagram story, Funny Bone revealed that the friend, a former university mate, stopped speaking to him after he refused to provide the clergyman’s personal contact information.
The comedian clarified that he didn’t possess Pastor Jerry Eze’s phone number then and added that even if he had it, he wouldn’t have given it out so quickly.
Funny Bone expressed relief at the severed communication, noting the mutual feeling. He criticized his former friend’s sense of entitlement, describing her behaviour as petty.
The father of one also joked about the experience, likening the situation to a classic case of unnecessary drama in friendships.
He said, “So an old University friend of mine, stopped talking to me because she claimed I refused to give her Pst Jerry Eze’s direct phone number.
“Phone number wey I no get in the first place, and even if I did, should I willingly just give it out??
“I am happy we ain’t talking no more and the feeling is very mutual. Some entitlement and pettiness can be irritating shaa Man like funny.”
