Negotiators Of Gana’s Aborted Amnesty In Fresh Trouble

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria in Bauchi State, on Wednesday, described the late Terwase Akwaza, popularly known as Gana as a dangerous gang leader who killed many people in the state.

The Chairman of the Bauchi State chapter of MACBAN, Sadiq Ibrahim, noted that the deceased was one of those who sponsored terrorism in Nigeria while he was alive.

Ibrahim while speaking with newsmen in the state, said Gana was responsible for lots of killings which was blamed on Fulani herdsmen.

He further stated that Fulani would protect themselves if the government fails in discharging such responsibility.

Ibrahim said: “In recent time, Bauchi State Governor tactically called for the protection of herdsmen because he understands the sufferings of herders in the country.”

“I stand to be corrected; Terwase Garase (alias Gana) was one of the sponsored of terrorism who caused a lot of crises in Benue State and neighbouring states.”

“He even caused the death of many people but these deaths were blamed on Fulani.”

In a related development, Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has appealed to Fulani herdsmen not to carry or use  AK-47 guns.

The Governor while speaking on Wednesday at the launch of the 2020/2021 annual livestock vaccination campaign held at the Galambi Cattle Ranch, Bauchi begged the herdsmen to remain peaceful even if they face any provocation.
